I watched this city from above. I watched the city that never sleeps. I was thinking about what we have. Almost everything. Or, some of us, everything. Home, food, clothes, friends, technology, possibilities. That’s not a bad thing. It is good for us, as human beings, to be surrounded by family and friends and affection. It is also good for us to have food and shelter.
However, I watched this city and I realize how much time we waste searching for things that satisfy our ego. We search for things that our society dictates for us. More clothes, more technology, more food. But we need it? Really need all those unnecessary things?

When we were kids, little kids that toddle around, we searched for things. We explored the world and we learnt. It is one of the most natural behavior in the world. Then, we grow up. And, we forget how beautiful is to discover and learn new things.
We grow up and we live inside a crystal ball, searching only for products, products to consume. We have stopped to explore the world. We are satisfied with what others say and see instead of us.
What we have lost is the ability to look at the world through our inner child’ eyes. We have lost the ability to ask the right questions. We have lost the will of explore the world of nature and be amazed by it.
And we are losing the world. We are losing our humanity.
